Fei Fei poses in front of a panoramic picture of women from Nixi Village in their traditional dress in the archaeological museum next to the Old Town main temple in Shangri-la.

Kesang's Sister-in-Law in the day to day skirt that women living in the villages often wear in lieu of the formal elaborate dress pictured above. This royal blue with green border represents Nixi Village.  As you go further into the mountains to places like Xidang and Yubeng near Meili Snow Mountain, the skirt patterns tend to become more detailed.  This is nice for us in Shangri-la because we can identify where people are visiting from right away by their clothing.
